Heat-pressed or stitched: how your non-woven bag is built

There are two ways to build a non-woven bag, and the choice affects strength, look and price.

Ultrasonic heat pressing welds the fabric with pressure and vibration. It is fast, leaves a clean flat edge, and keeps cost low — the standard for large promotional runs.

Stitched construction sews the panels and handles with thread. It is slower but stronger at the joints and looks more like a textile product. This is the choice for heavier loads and bags meant to be reused for months.

Many orders combine both: the body is heat-pressed for speed and cost, while the handles are stitched on for strength where it matters.

Handle strength deserves special attention — a bag that fails when loaded is worse than no bag at all, because your logo goes in the bin with it.
